The port of Egersund is known to be one of the largest and most important fishing-harbours of Norway. Egersund Sea Service is a combination of local companies joined together to accomodate the needs of visiting vessels.

Useful info on arrival The main seaward approach of port Egersund is from the south through the passage of "Søra Gapet". Passage is 230 to 110 meter, 12,5 meters deep and equipped with several sector lights. Constant outgoing flow. No tidal range. More information on website of local port authorities : - Pilotage
